    How the calculator works

    • Market minimum: we don't start tests below €100 a day in Italy or €200 a day in Germany, the UK, the US and other tier-1 markets. Below that, the algorithms learn too slowly.
    • Taboola: Realize recommends a daily budget of at least 10x your target CPA.
    • Outbrain: we use a daily budget of at least 7x the CPA goal.
    • MGID: we start from the market minimum and let each widget spend 1.5x the CPA goal before cutting it.
    • Test length: 14 days, enough for 2–3 days of learning plus creative and placement tests.

    Budget Calculator FAQ

Why does the budget depend on my CPA?+

Bidding algorithms need conversions to learn. If your daily budget only buys one conversion every few days, the campaign stays in learning and your CPA stays unstable.

What if my budget is lower than the result?+

Concentrate it: run one campaign on one device and one platform instead of spreading it thin. Below the market minimum we'd rather not start a test.

Is the budget per campaign or in total?+

Per campaign. A typical test runs one or two campaigns per platform, for example desktop and mobile.

Can I use it for Meta or Google Ads?+

No. These rules are specific to native platforms like Taboola, Outbrain and MGID, which learn differently from Meta and Google.
